The song Won’t Get Fooled Again has been regarded as an all-time greatest conservative rock song. The song was written by Pete Townshend who has repeatedly stated that the song does not imply any party-allied political message nor does it disparage revolution. From the viewpoint of an aspect of life which is unpredictable and this idea has been deliberately linked with revolution and conservatism for which both are inconsistent. The song can be categorized into three phases of revolution which is the uprising, overthrow and new regime which is similar to the old. Bateson had argued in this regard that is the human mind which is conscious enough to cause drastic damage to the natural ecology.
