Ethics is the morally mandated sanctions that are used by the people to live in a civilized society. In this the people encounter many conundrums as to devise the best course of action that would be beneficial for all the people. Certain ethical dilemmas such as animal testing involve apparent mental conflict between the precedented moral imperatives (Erwin, Gendin & Kleiman, 2015). In this certain sections the people would want to follow a mandates that would involve in the transgression of another issues. These ethical paradoxes continue to confuse the people. There is a need for active dialogue and retrospection to achieve a paradox that would be beneficial.
The purpose of this analysis is to look into the nuances of animal testing. The argument that has been proposed is that animal testing should be banned. This is the thesis stand that is taken. Critical analysis of the argument have been explored in the following.
Scientists argue that animal testing leads to a number of significant knowledge. It enables the people to learn about the different side effects of the drugs. This leads to more comprehension of the impact of the medicines. Many life saving drugs are developed for the animals as well as humans in the process (Singer, 2015). The argument that is made from the scientific community is that drug testing leads to gain of significant knowledge and all the people and animals are eventually benefitted from this process.
Hence it can be argued that the drug testing in animals could lead to different impacts on people and the actual impact or drug safety cannot be promised by this activity. The other issue with the animal testing is the costs involved. They are probed in the following.
