In this regard, it can be argued that incorporation of specific plan no longer provides any financial support to the struggling industry. Thus, based on that particular understanding, the government of Australia has tried to reduce its compliance burden of Australian automotive industry (Lennox and Curtis, 2013). In this case, it can be mentioned that the government of Australia intended to ensure or secure its future energy by reducing the overall production of car and vehicles. In this context, rationally it can be defined that introduce of large numbers of car in the domestic market of Australia is increasing the overall demand of renewable energy such as petrol and gas, which is almost highly expensive in the current competitive market context of the globe (Dowling, 2014). Apart from that, the government of Australia stopped its offering financial support to the car manufacturing firms, as increasing numbers of car within the Australian community are enhancing overall pollution within the environment (Kawada, 2013). Thus, with an intention of mitigating such environment associated causes, the government of Australia has strictly stopped its finance to the car manufacturing firms.
In this regard, rationally it can be mentioned that such decisions can be defined as strategic decision, which may help the government of Australia to reinforce its financial position as well as strength. Similarly, it can be defined that Australian economic has got hampered due to the causes of its downfall of automotive industry (Symons, 2012). Therefore, based on the above evidences of this study, it can be clearly mentioned that such strategic decision of stopping offering financial support to the sinking industry may help the government of Australia to revive its economic position to allow credit facilities to those industries (Dowling, 2014). On the other hand, it can be argued that stop offering financial support to the automotive firm may lead certain challenges to the local community as well as overall economic growth prospect of Australia, as it may lead unemployment and it was happened when Toyota has shut down its car manufacturing operations in Australia (Kawada, 2013). Thus, based on this particular evidence, it can be argued that offering no longer financial support towards sinking industry (automotive) may lead greater challenges for Australian economy for upcoming future.
