At the same time, I came to realize that my voice does not have an appropriate amount of loudness; loudness is regarded as the intensity, projection, volume or force. It has happened at various times during social events that my friends have to ask me to repeat what I said. They have also told me that there are times when it seems that I tend to mutter my words and the analysis done by me supports the same. I need to realize that there could be situations wherein I have to acknowledge a huge gathering and my voice must be strong and loud enough so as to address everyone even if no microphones are present.However, what the good thing which I realized about my voice was that it is very expressive. It is quite animated, well-pitched and expressive too. My voice changes its pitch level depending upon the emotions and at the same time the rate of phrasing, speaking and emphasis on different words also changes with the changing situation. I believe this quality of my voice is one of the other characteristics which keep the listener attentive to what I am saying. I have observed many cases wherein due to lack of expressions in the voice of the speaker the audience tend to lose the interest in what the speaker is saying. My voice also possesses some other features too which are undesirable like it is a bit hoarse, raw, scratchy and strained. In situations when I feel my voice is hoarse, I tend to clear my throat to make it audible and hoarse-free. However, there are some natural events due to which the voice of many people including me becomes denasal; it generally happens which one is suffering from cold.
