The report will outline the strategy and planning of the simulation of the business game, “Simventure”, on the company, Newbies. Newbies’ organizational structure consists of the CEO at the helm. The main verticals include the production department, finance department, human resource department, and the marketing department. Each department is headed by a General Manager under whom a team of professionals work. The business model of Newbies is applied with Simventure within the business analysis and strategy aligned to the Faculty of Law and Business. The aim of the Simventure is the provision of simulated experience with regards to the way organizational working takes place with the enablement of knowledge and skills from the areas of disparate subject to be assimilated and synthesized in solving complicated business problems.
This paper will evaluate primarily two aspects: (a) assessment of the impact on the Newbies by the software of Simventure administered and used by the Faculty of the Law and Business; (b) the reporting should be done based on whether Newbies’ financial investment is fruitful in relation to the software purchase that can justify the investment. The Simventure engagement is highlighted in this paper reflecting the business simulation allowing the management team of the Newbies running and setting up the virtual organization and learning about the entrepreneurship and business of the company. The evaluation is carried out in this report regarding the decision making and performance with respect to the perception of the achieved results in relation to the simulation (completion of the three years). The reflection of this report also involves the usage of entrepreneurial theories that are relevant when the decisions are made in the business with clear statement of the financial achievements at the completion of it (Hisrich, 2011). The report involves the first six months with detailed description where the development of the crucial stages took place. After that the illustration is just on the basis of every six months.
The question remains the elements that are required in driving people to turning into entrepreneurs in starting a company. Often it happens that there is lack of security among the individuals in answering the question that is apt to change over time as the individual’s perception changes continually. The reasons are segregated into two broad divisions. The negativity often defers people from starting ventures. Moreover, there are reasons that are active in relation to the attractiveness of the things with regards to the possession of one’s own business.
