2. Issues to Consider
The key issues that need to be explained is discussed in the following.
2.1 Business Partner Model
Theoretical explanation of business partner model
This model was developed by Ulrich who has divided the HR functions intro three functional segments. The individuals of the company work in liaisons with the managers by forming small groups. The business partners, employees of the group try to devise strategic solutions for the various issues of the company. The centres of expertise are maintained by the company as libraries of information. Ulrich proposed the model to aid in the strategic growth of the company. The HR department works in close liaisons with them to develop strategic advantages for the company (Ulrich, 2013). The HR business partner model is a systematic efforts taken by the HR department to address the issues in strategic planning for the business. This is done to meet the present challenges and future goals of the company.
Internal and external drivers of implementing the model within SNOW Mountain
The stakeholders for the company are the people who are directly and indirectly involved in the process of the operations. For any company, the internal drivers are the actual tangible location of the place, leadership of the company i.e. the top management and the employees. These should be feasible for the development of the business (Armstrong and Taylor, 2014). The external factors are the economy, socio cultural values of the people in the community, existing infrastructure and the governmental mandated legislations. The company such as SNOW mountain should look into feasible ways of governing people and ensure that all the stakeholders have vested interest for the development of the company.
