Critics are of the opinion that self-concept is about how a person is looking at or rather thinking about his/her Self. According to critics, to have a concept of one’s Self is equivalent to be aware of one’s own Self. Self-concept is something that I have learned recently and I believe that this particular theory of self-concept has a relationship with the concept of self-identity as well. There is reason behind me believing this particular fact. According to various critics and the scholars, the concept of self-identity or rather the identities of the individual includes the traits and the characteristics of the individual.
