Analysis- Price to earnings is the ratio that is used by the investors to analyze the return of them in the net profit or profit available for shareholders of the business organization. Price to earnings ratio indicates how much investors or stock holders of the organization are earning from the business operations and administrative activities of the organization. Price to earnings ratio is used to value business organization by using two variables i.e. earnings per share and price of stock or shares listed at stock exchange (Zhong et al., 2016). In present case of Chevron Corporation, it can be observed that they are performing well and theirs value is at desirable state as compared with industry average. From the above chart, it can be analyzed that price to earnings has been maintained and this shows adequate level of return that san investor can expect by investing in Chevron Corporation.

In this case of Chevron Corporation, above image represent quarterly revenue and year to year growth line can be observed. It can be analyzed that, doing during 2013 and 2014, Chevron Corporation has performed well in terms of earning revenues from their business operations (Ragone et al., 2013). However, in the year 2015, sales revenue of Chevron Corporation has dipped to great extent. This can be negative factor for investors that growth in terms of sales revenue is sat decline rate. Nevertheless, during mid of 2015 and beginning of 2016, Chevron Corporation has shown some improvement in terms of revenue growth as observed from above image. Chevron Corporation has gone negative 37.50 % revenue growth percentage to negative 12.20 % revenue growth.
