TEI is a joint-venture company originally founded in 1985. It was formed based on the partnership alliance with the TUSAS Turkish Aerospace industry, Turkish Armed forces, Turkish Aeronautical engineer and General Electric company (USA). The core objective of the company is to develop engine parts for the engine assembly of the airlines. The related aspects of marketing, consumer support and Research & development are also the main tangents that the company addresses (Durmaz, Ateş & Duman, 2011). The company has won accolades for its performance in the past. The vision of the company is “being the main manufacturer of a worldwide, high quality and competitive aircraft engine” and the mission is to be a permanent company in the future to ensure sustenance (Durmaz, Ateş & Duman, 2011).The issue faced by the company is the issue faced by the airline sector in general, such as the high levels of competition, increase in fuel prices, general public apprehension that airlines industry do not care about the public. This negative public imagery affected this company as well. In order to build rapport with the people the company undertook several steps to sustain in the markets.
