Micro blogs are an advancement in social media, wherein without any complex maneuvers anybody can post a small comment or statement. It is simple sentence form of communication or a brief statement. The Business people can link their website with the available micro blogging sites to improve their sales or post comments about the product or to give necessary links and feedbacks to the customer, tips or video commentaries regarding the proper use of the product and maintenance. Since the communication pattern is short sentence based it is appealing to one and all. The Micro blog reaches out to more people with simple effective communication. This is one element of the social media, and forms the focus of this research. The fundamental and holistic approach to Microblogging is its simplicity in getting started and in giving the comments which are in essence the way people generally communicate. It is not as complex as writing a letter. Simple words create a magic of affiliation which results in mass following as the time consumed is very less in posting the views which will direct more views to the website of the organization. Many businesses have started to acknowledge the positive role played by the social media and microblogging sites and are actively encouraging the interested parties to communicate through Microblogs. DFS uses microblogging but has much opportunities for improvement as will be established in the further sections.
