Fast fashion has caused positive impact on the economy of the emerging nations. The roots cause of fast fashion started in 1980s by the process of outsourcing. There are positive and deleterious impacts of the fast fashion in the current trends. The environmental impacts are found to negatively impact the people, environment and the animals. The workers are made to work in really dangerous conditions. There is a need to systemically change the processes. In this analysis, the ways to bring real change have been focused. There is a need to use sustainable fabrics and innovative methods to reduce the energy consumption. These practices are easier said than done. There should be a lot of analysis of the current paradigms, extraction of the beneficial factors and creation of a newer paradigm that would bring holistic change in the societies.
