I took the virtual tour using the Google art and culture museum app and was amazed to see the variety of artworks and the details which have been given with the objects on display. It feels as if you are already there and seeing it physically. The three museums chosen by me are Versailles museum in France, Malta Maritime museum in Malta and the palace museum of Taiwan. One of the main reasons why I have chosen these three museums lies in its versatility and uniqueness from one another. All the three museums cover different aspects. While the Versailles museum is mostly famous as it hosted the Government during the reigns of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI respectively. It played an immense role in displaying the different aspects of French political power during the French revolution and all the major decisions were taken here. The Malta museum as the name suggests has an important role to play due to the vast collection of maritime resources it houses which have strong link with historical events. It displays the various things related to prehistoric events till the present day with specific reference to Mediterranean concept. The palace museum in Taiwan houses about 600,000 pieces of historical artifacts some of which were abandoned near the harbour. It is a strong piece of evidence in an attempt to still keep alive the presence of Taiwan and the cultural history it boasts. This place is more than just an art museum as a number of historical artifacts belonging to different times are placed here.
