The key target of this project plan is the Staff of Natural Resources Management, consisting of 3,000 operational and resource managers, administration and stewardship specialists’ staff, rangers, and environmental compliance. Since the past 14 years, there has been a significant decline of 36 per cent in the positions of natural resource management. In terms of organizational structure, there are Lake, District, and Division offices along the chain of command with the Centres of Expertise and Laboratories with dispersion throughout the nation. The initial designing about the ANU Environmental Management Plan should focus on providing information about the way of management among the managers.
Beginning with the business area of recreation, the Environmental Management will be evolving the incorporation of business area in environmental stewardship and the initiatives of environmental compliance. Previously, all of the three areas were owned by stovepipes of organization in order to provide information across the field offices. The ANU Environmental Management Plan will be blurring the lines and providing information to the managers irrespective of the organizational structure or business area. The key emphasis must be laid upon partnerships across the lines of business. The Environmental Management will be serving the citizens of Toowoomba by the visitor pages describing the opportunities of recreation. There has been an extension of the model across the various Community of Practices.
The project of ANU Environmental Management Plan as an initiative for the expansion of transit services for the purpose of improving regional accessibility and mobility for residents across the densely populated areas of Toowoomba, Australia. The main focus of this project was the improvement of corridor mobility, air quality, boosting the transit ridership, ensuring equitably distributing the transit services, and supporting opportunity for smart initiatives of growth and sustainable establishment in the study area of project. One of the crucial ways was reduction in the consumption of electricity, as it mainly contributes to the emissions of greenhouse gases.
