Researchers found that Lotte Duty Free posted messages on Weibo were not only about monotonous information which about its stores; Messages of Lotte Duty Free on Weibo combined its celebrity spokesperson, travel information, and skin care knowledge with its products, special promotions and events to attract interest and attention from users of Weibo and its followers. This feature made followers more likely to commend and give feedback under each message. For example, there was a message about the list of necessary products of holiday (see picture 2.3 and 2.4). This message presented goods such as packages, bags, cosmetics and electricity goods to followers, all these goods people might use when they were on holiday, and the most important part was people could buy these goods in the Lotte Duty Free shop overseas (outside China) or in Lotte Duty Free online shop (pick up in Lotte Duty Free shop). There were eight comments from customers under this message, followers were talking about their thoughts about the information which this message offered. To compare with Lotte Duty Free, Weibo of DFS is more products-oriented; this feature of DFS leads inevitable baldness to followers of DFS or to potential followers (users of Weibo).
