It is seen in the movie that Miranda, a farsighted personality, stepped on the career of her most trusted employee Nigel to save her job to which Andy becomes disgusted with her. When she retaliates on Miranda for her actions and disagrees with her as she claims that she sees a great deal of herself in Andy, Miranda reminds her that she has already stepped over Emily and did the same. The climax of the story consists of how Andy later leaves Runway magazine to follow her real passion, and on the other hand, Miranda Priestly continues to rule over the fashion industry with her organization (Burns, 2012). The comparison of people with similar talent, in this movie in the face of Miranda and Andy, shows that even possessing the same quality cannot make the people achieve the same goals. The same quality which had made Miranda the worldwide and most influential leaders of the Runway magazine has never made Andy get in place of her though Miranda had admitted herself that she sees a great deal of herself in Andy. The discussion to be done in this portrayal is what is to be needed to get into the shoes of a leader and what differentiates an employee with a leader (Davies, 2013). A leadership quality and evaluation in a person are high in demand, and people are recruited more for their leadership skills. A leadership quality that Miranda Priestly has displayed in the movie, The Devil Wears Prada, is the definition of what a leader is made up of. Ice-cold, strict, influential, clear-headed and far-sighted. It is the influence of a leader that energizes and revamps an entire organization into following them to maintain the necessary framework in taking the company to reach never-ending heights (Yoder-Wise and Kowalski, 2010).
