Higher productivity: Motivation has a crucial role to play when it comes to enhancing productivity. It is true that employees are the most essential assets in a firm. This depicts the significance of acknowledging theory and motivation application for managing the human resources. Motivation is essential to enhance the workers job commitment level which leads invariably to higher worker’s productivity. This is confirmed from the transcriptions of interview:
“I believe that all organizations need to have a set of motivational sources so that each employee can select from in order to offer higher productivity from any perspective. Such production will not only be helpful for the company but also the employees in the company.”There were no instances where similar theme was described by the participants in a different manner. There was one instance where the respondent contradicted themselves while answering. This was regarding the type of motivation which most influences the participant. To this question, the participant replied informing that they have a preference for extrinsic rewards when I thought that more preference will be given to intrinsic rewards.
This is to conclude that this research paper is in alignment to the findings of primary and secondary sources researched while preparing. The themes highlighted in the assessment are inclusive of higher productivity, rewards, recognition, and extrinsic rewards preference and job satisfaction. These themes look different and they are different, but they have a clear inter connectedness between themselves. This interconnection has allowed in answering the research question of finding out the influence that motivation has over individual performance working with any firm or institute (Gerhart and Fang, 2014). The themes investigated have allowed in noting that motivation is related to all these themes. Furthermore, motivation can be gained through offering rewards, recognizing employees, ensuring higher satisfaction of employees and so on.
