When I look at pictures of myself from the past, I have realized how much has changed in my life. Many events had occurred that has triggered the need for change. My friend once mentioned about his parents losing job and how his family was struggling. This made me feel restless. I had the emotions that were conflicted between anger and sadness. This made me realize that some of the things that I had growing up was taken for granted. In my early years of high school, I always wondered about children having equal opportunity in educations. It was during this time that my teacher was discussing about the lack of teaching aids in classrooms. These two events changed the way I looked at the world. There was a different perspective with which I looked at the world. It was obvious that the people around me need help and I wanted an education system that would benefit children.
