I am an ambitious person who does not believe in lofty ideals or impossible beliefs, but I am more grounded and like to find solutions for real world issues. Food security is a problem that is soon going to affect everybody one way or the other. Issues of food security are already present in some countries in a more direct way. In my own residence in Hong Kong, the issue is observed in the form of rising costs of some food products, absence of export ventures in others etc. I believe this first hand observation of some of ways that food security affects people in my land is what motivates me to study about it and pursue a career in it. I understand that research has already been carried out in systematic manner and I would like to make myself a part of this academic field.
